I ran several tests, and all sites and HD videos loaded instantly on nearby servers, while 4K videos took 2 seconds to load — and a 10 GB file took around 6 minutes to torrent. On distant servers, sites and HD videos loaded instantly, 4K videos took 2–3 seconds to load, and the same 10 GB torrent took 7 minutes to download. 

Plus, its VPN Accelerator is excellent for boosting speeds on distant servers. I tested this feature on 10 distant server locations, and the results were always amazing — on average, it increased my VPN speeds by about 40–45%.

In my tests, it always provided me with average, stable ping while connected to distant servers, and I never experienced any lag or random disconnects. Unfortunately, the VPN is missing cloud gaming support, so there’s no guarantee it will work with cloud gaming platforms (like GeForce Now, for example). If you want to use a VPN for cloud gaming, I recommend getting ExpressVPN instead.

How I Chose the VPNs on This List
